The unique landscape and surfacing products featured in this catalog are produced from 100% commercial waste stream tire rubber. We have creative ways to recycle tire waste which is otherwise difficult to dispose of in an environmentally safe manner. By selecting recycled rubber as a raw material we strive to leave the least amount of environmental impact when producing the Rubber Designs product line. With the use of the latest technologies the total amount of energy consumed while manufacturing Rubber Designs products is less than that consumed by many companies that work with virgin or synthetic raw materials to manufacture similar products of lesser quality. In the United States alone, millions of tires are disposed of in landfills and illegal dump sites each year, creating hazardous conditions for the environment and its inhabitants. Rubber Designs is proud to work with recycling processing plants around the country and the world to lessen the impact in every way that we can.
